In his almost two decades working in the real estate industry, Clay Henderson has become one of the most acknowledged experts in Georgia in the luxury real estate market. He has just under $200 Million in sales of high-end new construction, custom re-sales, and luxury estates under his belt. This strong production along with his ability to put together complex transactions has made him one of the most sought-after real estate agents in the state for unique luxury properties, large estates, as well as luxury farms and ranches.  In order to serve this exclusive market even better, he created Georgia Farm and Ranch, a dedicated part of Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, with an exclusive focus on buyers and sellers of large-acreage specialty properties and multi-million dollar estates.

Clay started his real estate career in 1997, and soon became an onsite agent with the Eagles Landing Country Club and Golf Community in McDonough, GA.  A consistent top-performer, he became proficient in the handling of large custom built luxury homes, coordinating the transaction from concept to closing. He quickly became recognized in both the business and entertainment community as the “go-to” guy for his knowledge and expertise in that exclusive marketplace. In 2003, he founded Luxury Real Estate of Georgia, a boutique firm specializing in custom new construction and large established estates.  Covering an area from middle Georgia to the north Georgia mountains, he has worked with communities as diverse as St. Marlo,  Lake Spivey, Heron Bay Golf & Country Club, Waterfall Country Club and Lake Burton. An active leader in the industry, Clay has also served as a state director for the Georgia Association of REALTORS®. He has also served on the board of directors for Stepping Stones and the Epilepsy Foundation.

Since joining Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, in 2010, he has continued to increase his presence in the high-end marketplace. His expansion into working with high end farms and ranches was a natural progression for this award-winning agent, who loves to spend time with his wife, four children and three grandchildren exploring the countryside of Georgia. “My dad had a farm in North Georgia, and some of my fondest childhood memories are from visiting the farm, hunting, fishing, and exploring the land.”  He recalls.   “Every day was a new adventure! Those memories will be embedded in my soul for all of my days.”
