Hal and Linda Barry acquired Chaseaway in 1981, renamed the property Bear Creek Farm, and it served as their weekend retreat until 1991, when they moved full-time to Bear Creek Farm from Atlanta. The Barrys acquired several additional parcels of land over the next 10 years and Bear Creek Farm now includes 1,019+/- well maintained contiguous acres. Mr. B. H. Hardaway III hunted his Midland Foxhounds at Bear Creek Farm for many years.
